I wont deny that fact for a second. However, I will say that programs like this should not be this difficult to understand or operate.

They also shouldn’t be this finicky when it comes to doing simple tasks, such as importing video files. If you are trying to edit videos using the. TS file type, this is the software to stay away from. If you hope to have a better handle when editing the audio, then I would suggest looking towards the Ultimate Version, of this software. Would I recommend that version Probably not, as I haven’t used it yet, nor do I plan to.

I originally purchased this product, under the pretense of a past version, Pinnacle Studio 14 HD. I wouldn’t recommend this product as it takes ALOT notice the all caps of working around its complex video editing cans and can’ts to make it worth purchasing it. As I said, I don’t know if the other versions are less stressful to work with, but I know that this version at least, isn’t. No problems so far. Recently downloaded and applied a patch with no problems, so after sales support looks good as well.

Absolute garbage. Says compatible with bit Windows 7 OS, but bit is clearly the preferred version. This studio 18 didn’t work at all mostly the Export function on my Windows 7 bit laptop with MUCH MORE than the recommended hardware settings faster processor, fast Core i5 quad-core processor, etc.

Received a constant gray „circle arrow“ screen randomly on video clips that were OK in Edit Mode preview e. Other issues included „partly rendered, please close software and try again“ messages when trying to export to MPEG-4 p format.

Constant errors and performance issues. Constant preview problems in Edit Mode audio behind video, blackouts, and if you try to use the speed up function, forget about it Had nothing but bad experience with this, and Amazon allowed me to trade this in even though it was a digital download and my first time with a digital purchase for something else with proof of purchase. Steer clear. This is not the pinnacle of video editing performance Works great!

I’m still learning the product, but I’ve made two really good movies in the process. Download did not work I had to call Customer Services. They sent me a install CD. Works now. The standard version is missing many basic editing features that were in previous versions of Pinnacle. This includes locking a track from editing, and using the mouse to reposition a still image. I have been using versions of Pinnacle Studio for over 10 years, and cannot recommend this latest offering.

Don’t purchase this standard version. The standard version of Pinnacle 18 is actually a Sub-Standard editing platform.
